As the Data Operations Lead, I oversee a team of 10 talented professionals who deliver reliable and scalable data solutions across the organization. My role is focused on ensuring that our daily service operations run smoothly, supporting business-critical data workflows, and continuously improving our systems to enhance performance and stability.I work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, prioritize service requests, and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. I also take a hands-on approach when needed—whether it\'s optimizing SQL procedures, automating tasks with PowerShell or VBScript, or managing Azure-based data flows.In addition to leading the team, I\'m responsible for the operational KPI reporting that supports decision-making at multiple levels of the organization. I also ensure the availability and accuracy of data used by several teams to analyze the performance and efficiency of our wind turbines—helping drive insights that are crucial to our energy production and sustainability goals.

Tools and know-how: Modbus TCP, IEC 60•••••01/104, IEC 61850 MMS, DCS Systems, Control features for generation plants, Self-Supply and Blackstart Automation, Structured Text, Linux systems and Ruby scripts. Giving support to Sales, Services and Commissioning teams- 4 years of experience in Electrical energy distribution- 3 years working with SCADA / Substation Automation, being responsible for the automation and control of more than 100 Electrical Distribution substations, in a area of circa 40 km², supplying more than 1 million households. My role was planning, configuring, commissioning and maintaining the IT network with VLAN and RSTP features (CCNA basic knowledge), communications protocol (DNP and more recently IEC61850) and also the Substation Controller (SEL RTAC, Schneider SCD and Siemens - CODESYS) of those substations- Structured Text, Block Diagram and C developer in the Substation environment to fulfill the operational and regulatory standards- 1 year of experience as an intern with power grid construction, power flow analysis and SAP Automation using VBS. The later got recognized as one of the top 3 best innovation projects in the year 2017 in the whole company- As side projects I worked with process supervision and improvements using BI tools such as Grafana and PowerBI, SQL query on SCADA databases (ORACLE / MySQL / PostgreSQL), integrating Telegram API with these query in C# to raise alarms in critical processes- Good knowledge on power substation protection philosophies, protocol configuration and address mapping in IEDs especially SEL relays- As a professional, I like to teach and learn new things in every way I can. I am also easygoing and enjoy new challenges, tackling them always based on the deep analysis of data available, monetary savings and process indicators improvements.I\'m open to positions in and around Cologne, preferably in English. Positions elsewhere are acceptable when full-Remote is on the table. Current not looking for full on-site jobs.
