ABOUT THIAGO VIERIA

Highly skilled professional with over 20 years of experience in the cruise and entertainment sectors, currently serving as Family Guest Activities Fleet Supervisor at MSC Cruises. My career is marked by a strong commitment to process optimization, team management, and the innovation of guest activities onboard. In my current role, I oversee the Family Guest Activities product across the entire MSC fleet, working closely with teams to develop and implement operational procedures, conduct audits, monitor performance, and optimize inventory and request management from and for the ships. As Guest Activities Manager on an interim basis, I successfully managed the handover for a new Family Entertainment project, handling operations, budget, procedures and staff training. I have gained experience in various roles onboard, including Entertainment Cruise Staff, Dance Instructor, Cruise Activities Manager, and Cruise Director, accumulating solid experience in managing entertainment activities and coordinating events for an international clientele. As a freelancer, I also served as a technical entertainment instructor for the Fondazione Accademia Italiana della Marina Mercantile, providing specialized training for the entertainment sector onboard. My experience also includes roles in tourism, such as Tour Guide for CVC in Brazil and Excursion Sailor for CVC onboard ships.
