As a Director of Engineering at Skillz, I lead and manage the development of the Skillz SDK, a platform that enables any mobile game to become a competitive eSport overnight, and have grown the company from a small 10 person start up to IPO, and now beyond.I have been with Skillz for 10 years now, growing from a Mobile Engineer to a Lead, to Director. I am extremely passionate about creating a fantastic product for our players, have helped build Boston, San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, LA, and Las Vegas teams over the years!Besides working on the Skillz SDK, I also contribute to open source projects, design and build original mobile apps, and consult for companies in need of mobile expertise. As a highly technical engineering leader, I have also been an mobile engineer for almost 15 years now. I love learning new things, combining my interests in technology and dead languages (but hopefully not dead technology).
