Yash Mishra is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cellcraft- a B2B AI and Bioelectronic Automation start-up from Cambridge creating a scalable, end-to-end Cultivated Meat Manufacturing Platform to empower food producers to make their own delicious Cultivated Meats locally, thus addressing global food security and sustainability challenges. To date, Yash and his team at Cellcraft have raised over US $5 million in funding from VCs, corporate strategic investors and non-dilutive government grants (>$1 million). Yash was a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge developing bioelectronic, 3D human Brain-on-a-Chip models to replace animal testing and study neurodegenerative disease, etc. Yash\'s work was showcased at the UK Parliament as frontier, ground-breaking UK research.Yash has been a TEDx speaker and is the Lead Author of chapters of 2 different textbooks, including the world\'s first textbook on Cultivated Meat.He is a Biochemical Engineering graduate from University College London with a decade of experience, including 2 years in the biopharmaceutical industry establishing a robotic, high-throughput system for bioprocess development, 2 gold medals at the world\'s biggest synthetic biology competition (iGEM), and analytical technology development and computational modelling at Imperial College London. Furthermore, Yash\'s team won Best Entrepreneurship at iGEM, where he was later a Head Judge.
