As the former Technical Advisor on the BEST Team at Microsoft, I worked with engineering leaders and teams to transform Azure into the preeminent destination for those seeking a career in engineering. I leverage my expertise in agile methodologies, cloud computing, and C# to enable onboarding, continuous learning, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives across the organization. I am also passionate about growing and supporting diverse technical talent, both inside and outside of Microsoft. With over 15 years of experience in engineering management and architecture roles, I have co-founded and evolved the LEAP apprenticeship program, established the first engineering team in Kenya, donated to the U.S. Virgin Islands to kickstart technology initiatives, and founded and funded The EV3NT, a collaborative, community-based hackathon. I believe that technology can be a powerful tool for solving critical real-world problems, and that everyone should have the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from it.
