About Vishal Patel

I\'m a product leader with deep expertise in payments, technology, and operations. I currently lead FanDuel\'s payments product organization, where my team owns the end-to-end customer experience for deposits, withdrawals, and tax across all verticals.My career has followed a somewhat unconventional path. I started in IT and data analytics at State Farm, then moved to The Home Depot where I worked in software and data engineering before being selected for a competitive leadership rotation program in internal assurance and advisory. That program gave me exposure across operations, supply chain, finance, and technology, and when I graduated, I took a role leading payments strategy and partnerships. From there, I moved to FanDuel where I\'ve led payments strategy, built and scaled business operations for payments and fraud, and ultimately transitioned into product management. Each chapter gave me a different lens, and the combination is what I bring to product leadership today: technical fluency, operational rigor, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for developing people.At FanDuel, I\'ve driven measurable impact including improvements in deposit success rates that generated hundreds of millions in incremental volume, contract negotiations delivering millions in cost savings, and building teams and functions from the ground up. What I\'m most proud of is the teams I\'ve helped build and the people I\'ve helped grow along the way. Now as Director, my focus is on long-term strategy, developing a high-performing team, and positioning payments as a competitive advantage in online sports entertainment.
