In 2010 I founded The Video News Factory Ltd. and since then have built a unique managed service for corporate video production. TVNF is used by a large and impressive range of clients from startups to international corporates across industries ranging from City financial firms to science and technology companies.TVNF offers corporates a simple way to outsource the creation and deployment of video-rich media channels. Services range from simple editing to serialised production in our TV studio, advanced 3D animated models, podcasts, and live streaming major events for news, promotions, training, or compliance for national or international audiences. The key to my success is borrowing 20+years of experience in the IT industry and applying it to create a range of video services that in most cases take less than 50% of the time and cost of rival traditional services. I have also become a strategic advisor to clients working as a Non-Exec Director to start-ups.PREVIOUS EXPERIENCEThe first half of my career was spent selling and marketing IT services for Cap Gemini, First Data Corp, Steria and IBM leading several highly successful multi-million-pound go-to-market campaigns, mainly in the Healthcare Sector. In the 1990s, I helped IBM win a contract to deliver the world\'s first private Internet TV video news and information service with World Health Networks as well as win a contract with a major Pharma to deliver the world\'s first \'Virtual Health Village. I set-up a profitable UK arm of InfoTech Inc. to launch Wellness Checkpoint, a multi-media and Big Data Corporate health risk management solution which was sold to over 75 major UK corporates and public sector bodies. Then Cable & Wireless offered a rare opportunity to be a Global IT Director and managed a major part of their contract with IBM. This covered strategic planning, for HR, Finance, and Billing, overseeing CAPEX and OPEX spending, and implementing UK and Global business transformation programs.

ABOUT JEAN-PIERRE RAYMOND ALLARD

My main professional career has been in IT enterprise applications and service, working in Senior roles on new business, account management and as an IT services manager, working with some of the best companies in the world like IBM, Cap-Gemini Sogetti, First Data Corporation, Steria, and Cable & Wireless. My career has spanned Government, NHS, Banking, Telco, Media, Manufacturing and Distribution with extensive experience in managing International roles e.g. US, Asia Europe, Africa and the Middle East.Between 2010 and 2023 I built TVNF a media production company with a unique managed service that offers, innovative, media production from filming, 3D animation, live-streaming and video rich content social media marketing. H.Q. in Milton Keynes, and 80% of our business is spread across the UK with 20% of our projects overseas. TVNF has delivered projects for notable companies such as HCL Technologies, The Institute of Engineering & Technology, TCS Biosciences, Riello UPS, Dawson Group, Aginode, United Technology Corporation, Harrods, Lindt, Gist, Mastercard and TCS Biosciences. In July 2023 the company had reached a stage of maturity where it needed less of my time and I was able to take up a new role with The Foreign Commonwealth Development Office as a Senior Business Relationship Manager marking my return to the world of enterprise-wide IT working in a small team across on a range of mission-critical Global IT services. That period turned me into an ardent critic of the colossal operational inefficiencies within the Civil Service, how staff are treated and let down by internal politics and management thinking that is totally risk averse and limits change and innovation. At the same time, the period with the FCDO proved that I could leave TVNF to sell manage and return to major roles in IT and that my knowledge and expertise in areas like A.I. and general IT fully up to date.I enjoy developing and leading strategic plans to take new products to market, win major contracts or turnaround and rescue major accounts.
