Hi! I’m Sharon Penley. I have a bachelor’s degree in business management from Yakima Valley College. I am currently an Art Commissioner for City of Richland, past-President of YWCA Yakima, past board member of LULAC and have served in boards or as a volunteer in other non-profits such as Junior League of Yakima, OneAmerica, and OneAmerica Votes. My qualifications include experience with project management, contracts, operations, procurement, purchasing, project controls, quality assurance, and computer applications like Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems like SAGE and CRM applications like Salesforce and Cloud Coach. Skilled in Volunteer Management, Team Building, and Public Speaking.My previous work experience has further prepared me in gaining experience in project management. The experience enhanced my skills in strong organizational techniques; high productivity; quality project checks and efficiency in detail oriented professional procedures. I know how to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks of large quantity simultaneously and consistently; exercise sound judgment; and demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills.I am dedicated and have proven to have the ability to work well in a team-based environment and independently. I am proactive at dealing with issues and taking actions. In addition, I have demonstrated strong motivational skills as well as a positive attitude, a desire to learn and I have great work ethics. I am personable and have an outgoing attitude.Looking into my future career, I have plans to contribute to the field of business and project management and accomplish milestones for women in leadership.
