About Theron McGee
It is a privilege to serve as the North American Ford Production System Lean 6-Sigma Manager. This position allows me to drive Excellence in all North American Plants using Lean (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, 8 Waste, Takt Time, Kanban, Jidoka, Poke Yoke, Autonomous Maintenance, Gemba, etc.) to eliminate waste, and 6-Sigma to drive out variation to eliminate problems. The combination of using Lean and the 6-Sigma Methodology promotes continuous flow and reduces cost. My main focus is on delivering world class business results by improving the bottom line. My position allows me to take the lead in training, mentoring, and coaching Lean and 6-Sigma at all levels of the organization. Lean Manufacturing uses both Lean and 6-Sigma to eliminate waste and optimize processes. This in turn reduces lead time, eliminates cost, and improves flow. The position allows me to drive Continuous Improvement measures at all levels of the business using Kaizen and Lean Tools. My goal is to use my skills as a 6-Sigma Level II Master Black is to promote Operational Excellence and lead Ford to be Best in the World.
