Perform procurement activities for capex projects related to expansion of Alumina refinery unit, erection of pellet plant etc. Successfully completed all deliveries from India on time for pellet plant project to be commissioned in Egypt. Currently working on procurement off all capex equipment required for commissioning of Calcination and Evaporation unit at Nalco Damanjodi Odisha. Buying scope includes fabricated and casted item along with mechanical pump, valves, motors, VFD and instrumentation items. Works with various MSME suppliers for fabricated item along with various OEM’s regarding other items. Works closely with project manager to ensure project items and services to be purchased lowest total cost to meet customer requirements and serve organizational requirement Identifies sourcing risks and ensures mitigating strategies for timely delivery of Capex Items. Work closely with engineering team to conclude technical bid and engineering related queries on priority. Ensure timely deliveries of item as per quality requirement of client and meet project budget. Handel logistics related requirement for project equipment like inland movement of normal items, ODC Capex equipment, export of project related equipment’s etc. Ensure timely payments to suppliers & manage financial instruments like ABG, PBG, LC etc. Targets key vendors and develops long term relationships. Help proposal team to prepare budgetary offer for upcoming projects. Ensure to increase supply from India to maximize best cost country share in overall supply. Manages, trains, develops and lead activities with colleagues.
