   Throughout my 24-year career, I have successfully managed the development of hundreds of educational programs in a variety of subject areas and grade levels. I work extensively with leading medical publishers such as Pearson and Wolters Kluwer Health in staffing, developing and producing nursing products–for both the academic and clinical markets.Our start-up company, Lifelong Media, is a digital publishing company that promotes lifelong learning in people of all ages through enriching educational experiences.Rapid advances in technology have significantly shortened career life cycles. According to the Bureau ofLabor Statistics, the average worker holds ten different jobs before the age of forty, while the Pew Research Center states that the majority of Americans are seeking out learning activities in their personal and work lives. In response to these trends, we focus on new learning models for personal, educational, and professional development. The technologies driving the changes in the job market are also driving changes in the traditional educational landscape. We have witnessed first-hand that global educational publishers are struggling to adapt to changes in the textbook industry.Our research-based approach to learning infuses domain-specific learning activities with a rich set of digital media tools to provide a complete set of resources that build specific skills and understandings while at the same time develop a rich set of individual core competencies, or soft skills. We are fully prepared to support the 21st Century Learner with soft skills resources.Our learning collections address the entire career-span of a domain—from those considering or just entering a professional field to seasoned professionals looking for continuing education. We produce videos, virtual simulations and adaptive online learning resources from soup to nuts!
