Work cross-functionally to ensure that the project management discipline addresses the enterprise business requirements of internal departments as well as the needs of our clients. Lead a team of internal project managers (Sr PMs, PMs, Jr PMs) to facilitate execution of key IT initiatives, establish team quality standards and a learning curriculum to perpetuate and instill excellence within the department. Accountable for demonstrating continual and quantifiable improvement in efficiency, staff utilization, cost savings and business unit and/or client satisfaction (relevant to IT operations). Accountable for the overall plan of a portfolio and for ensuring: 1. Program/project governance is in place to achieve successful delivery of projects, consistent with overall PMO framework, standards and processes. Correct resources are in place to mobilize and deliver projects. Up-to-date maintenance of whole portfolio view including costs, resources, milestone plans, risks and issues and quality for reporting purposes.
