About Theresa Early
With over two decades of experience in policy analysis, I serve as a Policy Analyst at the DC Government’s Department of Human Services (DHS) Office of Policy and Program Support. My work focuses on enhancing service delivery for families navigating multiple systems through initiatives such as DC Cross Connect, a collaborative effort with CFSA and DBH. As part of DHS’s Equity and Inclusion Initiative, I contribute to the BRAVE team and co-chair the Mayor’s Child & Infant Fatality Review Committees, advocating for systemic improvements to serve vulnerable populations better. My professional journey includes expertise in program planning, interagency collaboration, and family services. I provide strategic support for federal programs such as Homelessness Continuum of Care, TANF, SNAP, HMIS, WIOA Head Start, and oversee agreements and reporting processes to ensure compliance and efficiency. Passionate about driving impactful change, I am committed to fostering equity and improving outcomes for families through data-informed solutions and cross-sector partnerships.
