I work with a team to design vision inspection and packaging systems. I see through and support production from initial concept design to product shipment. In addition to my core roles listed below, I helped initiate a new data management system for our CAD files by taking lead on implementing Solidworks PDM company wide and migrating over all files to the new system and setting a new standard for our workflow. Another crucial aspect of my role is creating ISO documentation procedures to clearly communicate standards for design. Core roles include-Designing components, systems, and complete machines to customer specifications -PDM management of Solidworks files -Working with project managers, vendors, and customers to develop concepts, build and test prototypes, generate detailed CAD designs, create engineering drawings, and support system integration and testing-Assist sales team with technical inquiries and quotes -Work with machinist and assembly technicians through production -Provides additional inventory management support and creates bill of materials
