Hello, my name is Theresa Wright. I am a Junior at the Lubin Business School at Pace University, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Management. Over the past few years, I have cultivated valuable management and leadership experience through my work in the food and beverage industry and my involvement in Phi Sigma Sigma, where I held roles such as Public Relations Chair and Special Events Coordinator. These positions allowed me to promote events, organize large-scale gatherings, and lead initiatives to support our philanthropy, enhancing my skills in communication, event planning, and collaboration. As the Purchasing Manager at Pace Perk Café, I oversee supply management, lead a team of Assistant Purchasing Managers, reconcile purchases, and contribute to key business decisions as part of the senior management team. Additionally, I manage vendor relationships, coordinate shopping trips, and support daily operations, developing expertise in leadership, organization, and strategic planning. I also work as a server and hostess at Jay Street Bistro, where I thrive in delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. My previous role as a cashier at a liquor store further strengthened my customer service abilities and provided me with insight into the beverage industry.
