The Florida Anthropological Society is dedicated to the communication of archaeological discovery and scholarly exposition in Florida through an annual conference, quarterly publication of the \"The Florida Anthropologist,\" and as a sponsoring partner of Florida Archaeology Month with the Florida Department of State Division of Historical Resources, Florida Archaeological Council and the Florida Public Archaeology Network. I serve this statewide, volunteer-based nonprofit as immediate past-president (2017-present; President 20••••17; 1st VP 20••••15, 2nd VP 20••••13), Florida Archaeology Month poster committee member (2012-), board liaison for the annual conference (2018, 2014; conference chair 2010), and chapter representative for the Southwest Florida Archaeological Society (2006-).
