ABOUT THERESA LAMA-CRAMP

Like with everyone, COVID changed everything, but I was determined so I wanted to get something positive out of the lockdown experience. like everyone else for the first time in our lives we had time and money hence I decided to take the bold step at over 40 to study for my health and safety qualifications, it was the best move I ever made as I had the backing of Citation family who did nothing but support and encourage me and I had the constant support of my friends and family who kept pushing me on believing in me. After a lot of studying, I was amazed to have achieved my diploma in health and safety and then getting my grad IOSH, but I don’t stand still for long as I am now studying for my chartered membership. Health and Safety has such an awful reputation, I\'m often being told that I\'m the enemy and that I\'m just a pen pushing clipboard bureaucrat, the reality of being a health and safety advisor is that we keep people safe which I think that is a great place to be knowing that my advice ensures that people go home safely after being at work for the day.I\'m passionate about promoting positive safety cultures in business, I\'m passionate about breaking down the negativity of health and safety and I\'m passionate about helping clients, a job in health and safety is a brilliant place to be. My safety slogan - Safety first because injuries last.Out with work, I am a total sport nut! I\'m always out walking/running/ wild swimming in the Peak District and when I\'m not doing that I\'m practicing yoga, I support the local rugby team Sale sharks who will win the premership this season!( fingers crossed )
