There is an aesthetic to quality, one that involves precision, perspective and persistence, holding true to standards set by others as well as those we set for ourselves.Quality Control is essential to the success of biopharma systems and processes. As a Quality Control Leader, I serve as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert, ensuring day to day tactical and logistical support for coordinating routine testing and/or project timelines. Some highlights of my career include the following- First in the industry to implement the Growth Direct System (GDS) rapid automation- Completed GDS implementation in both the United States and Switzerland- Trained over 100 Quality team members on cGMPs and regulatory requirements- Project managed rapid microbial detection and method transfer for the Mouse Minute Virus (MMV) assay- Established EM/UM programs utilizing the Growth Direct System in both US and Switzerland- Conducted validation of the MicroSEQ Rapid Microbial Identification System.From design to validation and implementation, my role is to ensure systems, equipment and processes are delivered according to regulatory requirements and internal controls, helping my company achieve competitive advantage. I seek to hold true to an aesthetic of Quality in everything I do and have been lucky enough to work with others who are just as dedicated and passionate about their work as I am.
