I am Psychotherapist but primarily identify as a Child and Youth Care Practitioner. I also have worked as a Curriculum Consultant in Post Secondary Education! I specialize in Play Therapy, Santray/Worldplay. I also have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology hence I love to work with adults and families. I have been a treatment foster parent with my partner for over 25 years. I am currently working on my Phd with the University of South Wales.I was named the 2009 Trauma Specialist of the year by the National Institute of Trauma and Loss. In 2010, Humber College awarded me the title of Alumnus of Distinction.In 2010 I was named President of the Canadian Association for Child and Play Therapy and began that role again in 2018.I am blessed to be able to work as a clinician and teach in Post Secondary environments from advanced diploma to Master\'s degree programs as well as internationally in post master\'s programs.Specialties: adoption, attachment, trauma and Theraplay. I am trained in providing Parent Capacity Assessments and EMDR.
