Over the past 15+ years, I have built medical affairs functions from the ground up, developed robust product portfolios, and led scientific communications/engagement in clinical development activities by combining strategic/commercial leadership skills and scientific expertise. I have also demonstrated success in fostering cultures of excellence by energizing teams to deliver cutting-edge performance with a direct impact to revenue, establishing and strengthening alliances with clinical and scientific leaders to achieve organizational goals, and architecting scientific and medical strategies to drive significant profit growth for leading pharmaceutical organizations.Key Career Impressions: Directed the development of a scientific communications plan for a portfolio of products at Covis Pharma while spearheading the responsibility of Medical Affairs for pipeline product and launch preparation. Oversaw multiple therapeutic area product launches and relaunches, introducing products for diabetes, cardiovascular, gastroenterology, gene therapy, rare disease,(sickle cell, neta thalassemia, & ALD), maternal health, and respiratory diseases, in addition to working closely with regulatory teams. Managed a team of Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) at Boehringer Ingelheim, inaddition to mentoring and training newly hired MSL managers/directors within field-based medicine. Developed a process to establish therapeutic area key events, field team (MSLs) customer-facing activities, capacity allocations, and target populations to project Medical Plans of Action (MPoA) for all priority brands of Boehringer Ingelheim.
