Specifically provides program support for the development and implementation of new methods of leveraging technology, reducing energy consumption and implementing conservation practices to slow the need for new electric generation, reducing demand on the transmission grid and benefiting the environment. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to save energy and then develops energy efficiency programs and measures that are provided to the public utilities of the Northwest for implementation. These programs span all sectors of the economy and range from very simple transactional measures to highly complex region wide infrastructure development programs.
