Leading a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers (5 people)​​Responsibilities:​- Define and prioritize the technical roadmap in collaboration with product teams and newspapers editorial staff​- Act as lead technical contributor on critical, high-impact projects​- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members​.​Key achievements:​- Led the development and scaling of 4 LLM-powered product features, from MVP to robust deployment.​- Led the development of 3 personalized recommendation algorithms to improve content discovery.​- Led the transition to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform in one year: standardizing cloud infrastructure provisioning and improving deployment automation.​- Migrated the data platform from Azure to Google Cloud Platform: redesigning pipelines and services to leverage GCP-native tools (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer).​- Rebuilt a 100TB+ company data lake within one year, redesigning 70+ pipelines using a Medallion architecture on BigQuery​- Established data reliability standards (data quality validation, monitoring, alerting), achieving 99.9% SLA across production pipelines​- Spearheaded efforts that reduced technical debt by 66% in one year, including recoding key data pipelines and upgrading core services.​- Increased team delivery throughput by 3x, introducing standardized data pipelines, Terraform infrastructure modules, and CI/CD automation.​
