   At Discovery Education I use my software architecture and database systems expertise to lead efforts for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, Database Administration/Operations, Database DevOps, and robust ETL Operations. In this varied role I find myself performing tasks from all aspects of the technical spectrum, including management, development, project management, testing, and deployment.Current Highlights- Created a custom mongo to SQL Server ETL process that normalizes schemaless data- Created a Data verification and validation engine- Created a process for protecting client PII and ensuring compliance with security policy- Re-engineering large client-data import system to meet growing demands due to vast increases in volume and complexity- Working on migrating our Windows infrastructure to 100% virtualization- Implementing a DevOps continuous integration pipeline for SQL Server Databases and related code- Migrated from JasperSoft to SSRS for client Reporting.
