WORK HISTORY
Chair, Long-term Water Augmentation Committee @Water Infrastructure Finance Authority Of Az
Phoenix, AZ, US
WIFA’s Long Term Water Augmentation Fund (LTWAF) financially supports the development of projects intended to supplement Arizona’s existing water supplies. With a forward-thinking investment by the State of Arizona, the LTWAF will fund innovative, reliable, and sustainable solutions for augmenting Arizona’s water supply. The LTWAF is part of a holistic approach to meeting Arizona’s water needs through diverse strategies including conservation, reuse, and the development of new sources of water, all to enhance Arizona’s water supply reliability, resiliency, and sustainability. As chair of the Long-Term Water Augmentation Committee, I led the effort to develop a solicitation for water importation projects. Seventeen responses led to the selection of four project teams that have been approved by the WIFA Board for further evaluation. An in-state water augmentation program is also underway.https://ltwaf.azwifa.gov/
