View department →

Boston, MA, US

I work as a front end web developer as part of a team using industry standard technologies as well as standard practices such as continuous, test driven development to create long lifecycle software for products in a multi million line code base. I not only design and write software but also write unit and end to end tests, engineer new APIs, as well as manage workflow with version control and product management software. Furthermore I work within the entire software development lifecycle, buddying code, pair programming, and writing release notes for the software I check in.

ABOUT THEODORE LAURITA

I am a Tufts University graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in History. I was a member of the TedxTufts team, I played on the Tufts Ultimate Frisbee Team, and am an elephant trainer! I am looking to pursue a career in software development and management. I have previous work experience as a back-end, front-end, and full stack web software developer in both smaller, start up environments as well as more established companies working with tens millions of lines worth of code. I am most interested in front end development and am currently employed in that capacity. I am hoping to get into software management in a project or product management capacity.
