About Theo Stanley
I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where I earned a degree in Physics with magna cum laude honors. I have a strong interest in solar and plasma physics, complemented by a passion for instrumentation. Over the past three years, I have worked as an undergraduate instrument engineer and researcher at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP). My involvement with CubeSat missions and larger programs has provided hands-on experience at the intersection of physics and engineering. As a researcher, I also completed an undergraduate thesis exploring the potential relationship between the Doppler velocities of solar plasma and the magnitude of corresponding solar flares. Currently, I work at Lila Sciences alongside the vacuum synthesis team. I am responsible for characterizing and operating our systems to support ongoing materials discovery research. My work relies heavily on thermodynamics and materials science to understand particle nucleation and deposition.
