I safeguard and promote students\' wellbeing in accordance with statutory guidance. As a form tutor, I identify behavioural cues and foster an empathetic, approachable environment, ensuring students feel comfortable sharing concerns. When issues are disclosed, I follow appropriate procedures, collaborating with year managers or staff as needed and logging concerns in platforms like CPOMS. I maintain consistent communication with parents through calls and emails, providing updates on progress or challenges. My supportive approach encourages students to confide in me, boosting attendance, progress, and overall wellbeing.I am also responsible for student progress and outcomes, helping them achieve their targets through high-quality lesson planning informed by educational research. I conduct intervention classes for struggling students and motivate them by clearly communicating the actions required to meet their goals, involving their guardians as necessary.In the classroom, I deliver lessons with clarity, frequently checking understanding through questioning and providing both verbal and written feedback. I track and analyse data from assessments, homework, and attendance using tools like Microsoft Excel to tailor interventions. I adapt my teaching to meet the needs of students with special educational requirements, ensuring I create an inclusive classroom. By staying positive and addressing individual needs, I consistently help students meet or exceed their targets.
