About Nora K Shepard
From launching client services departments, to scaling new business functions, to shaping how a company tells its story to the world, I am most energized in moments of transition.I started my career as employee #2 at SimplyBe, a personal branding firm committed to bringing more authenticity to the workplace. I saw that company through multiple stages of growth, ultimately leading the company’s first dedicated sales function, generating more than $3M annually in new business, and helping position the firm for its eventual acquisition.Along the way, I realized that what I really loved wasn’t just sales. It was building the systems that help companies grow. The people, the process, and the story all have to work together. That realization carried into my next chapter at Walker Sands, where I joined the agency as Director of Growth and helped expand the firm’s enterprise business development efforts during a period of rapid growth.Today I serve as Vice President of Communications at Frontieras, a company inventing new ways to transform carbon resources into fuels, industrial materials, and other strategic energy products. After more than a decade developing breakthrough technology largely out of the spotlight, the company is entering a new phase—building its first commercial facility in West Virginia and preparing for broader engagement with capital markets, policymakers, and the public. My role is to help shape how that story enters the world. If my earlier roles were about building the systems that drive growth, this one is about building the narrative that helps people understand why it matters. If you cover energy innovation, industrial growth, or the future of American infrastructure, I’d love to connect!Email: n••••••••@frontieras.com

Leading the communications strategy for Frontieras as the company enters a new phase of growth and prepares for capital markets engagement. My role focuses on shaping the public, policy, and investor narrative around the company’s breakthrough energy technology and its key role in advancing abundant, reliable, and domestically produced energy.I work across executive leadership, legal counsel, government stakeholders, and media to ensure the Frontieras story is communicated with clarity, credibility, and strategic impact.Key areas of focus include:→ Corporate & Capital Markets Communications: Architecting the company’s public narrative and communications framework as Frontieras prepares for IPO-era scrutiny and broader institutional visibility.→ Executive Platform Development: Building and managing the thought leadership platforms of Frontieras’ leadership team through speeches, op-eds, interviews, and strategic content.→ Media & Public Affairs Strategy: Developing relationships with top-tier financial and energy media while positioning the company in broader conversations around energy innovation, industrial policy, and economic competitiveness.→ Policy & Government Engagement: Supporting government relations and stakeholder communications across federal and state energy corridors.→ Narrative & Message Architecture: Crafting the strategic messaging that communicates Frontieras’ approach to energy innovation, industrial revitalization, and the future of the American energy system.
