ABOUT MARSHALL MALONE

Visit my website: themarshallmalone.com (It\'s a Windows 98 Desktop!)My fascination with the internet began in 1990, when my father introduced me to early computer networking and Bulletin Board Systems (BBSes). That first spark of curiosity led to a passion for web development and digital publishing. Before long, I was sharing my original music online. an early glimpse into the power of digital platforms and a foundational experience that would shape my future career in digital marketing.Prior to entering the digital space professionally, I spent a decade in retail, working in roles spanning stockroom management, merchandising, buying, departmental leadership, and retail marketing. During this time, I built strong relationships with key regional retailers and gained firsthand insight into customer behavior, supply chain logistics, and brand representation on the ground. In 2012, I launched my digital marketing career as a photographer at Fanatics, the industry leader in e-commerce sports merchandise. After a year of shooting products and models for the website, I became a member of the SEO team and assisted in driving historic revenue through strategic organic search efforts. Since then, I’ve led successful SEO campaigns across a range of industries, including healthcare and plastics manufacturing, and have had the opportunity to mentor SEO professionals across the country.Alongside my marketing work, I’ve nurtured a long-standing passion for media production. Through my production company, Upside Down Creative Media, I’ve created engaging content across streaming platforms, podcasts, and photography. including several award-winning short films. There, I wrote, produced, shot, and edited high-impact video content for broadcast, social media, digital platforms, and OTT, while also delivering commercial content for a variety of clients. In 2024, I returned to e-commerce by joining Superior Fireworks, where I lead digital marketing strategy and video production efforts.
