Mari Galloway is a cybersecurity executive, award-winning community leader, and strategic advisor who helps organizations reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and build scalable security programs aligned with business priorities. With over 16 years of experience across government and commercial sectors, Mari has led enterprise security initiatives spanning network engineering, security architecture, vulnerability management, and risk strategy. She is known for translating complex technical risk into clear business decisions, ensuring security investments directly support operational and executive objectives. Her work increasingly focuses on the intersection of cybersecurity and emerging technologies, including how organizations adopt AI safely through strong governance, data protection, and risk-informed decision-making.Mari began her career at Accenture as a Network Engineer, building the technical depth that informs her leadership today. She now serves as CEO of a cybersecurity consulting firm, advising organizations on vulnerability management, security architecture, risk prioritization, and cyber resilience strategy. In this role, she partners with leadership teams to define direction while ensuring execution of practical, scalable solutions.She is also the CEO and founding board member of the Women’s Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC), one of the fastest-growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit cybersecurity communities focused on advancing women and girls in cybersecurity. Under her leadership, WSC has expanded globally, delivering hands-on training, mentorship, and career development that strengthen the cybersecurity talent pipeline.Mari\'s contributions have earned national recognition. She is the inaugural recipient of the 2019 ISC2 Diversity Award and a 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient for her service and leadership.In addition to her executive work, Mari serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus and as a LinkedIn Learning instructor, equipping professionals with practical cybersecurity knowledge grounded in real-world application.A best-selling author and international speaker, Mari is known for making complex cybersecurity concepts practical, actionable, and aligned with business outcomes.
