Carried out spec, design and execution of allowing users to see their status viewers on WhatsApp Web- Created spec and guided development of adding media controls (Pause/Play, Mute) to Statuses on WhatsApp Web- Carried out spec and execution of adding ability to send stickers as Status replies on WhatsApp Web- Own team hiring by reaching out to potential bootcampers and connecting them within the team (6 hires so far)- Led initiative to attribute code ownership to all files in WhatsApp Web files)- Created spec and led execution for fixing regressions in Status-related synchronisations post multi-device migration- Conducting behaviour interviews for Software Engineers in the pipeline for hiring at Meta (12 so far)- Mentoring web engineers across multiple halves (3 so far)- Co-led initiative across web platform to write end-to-end tests covering high priority QA flows, which also involved organising a hackathon over a month. Resulted in 49 new tests being added (35% increase)- Drove logging on all platforms and executed on WhatsApp Web to implement Status rings on user profile photos- Implemented viewing of Voice Statuses on WhatsApp Web and also helped drive the project through all phases.
