I didn\'t really grow up with role models, I grew up surrounded with examples of what not to become. Growing up, I chose a different path, I decided to become a role model and show all the girls pursuing STEM that it is possible to follow your passion. My personal motto became \'Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game\'. I am an extremely hardworking and determined person who never gives up and is always giving everything my best shot. I have worked hard and exceled as a leader with ability to listen, to communicate, with problem solving, analytical and team building skills. My love and passion for helping people drives me. I have always loved numbers and puzzles and to solve world problems using data which led me down my engineering path.Thelmar Theresa Manyika, is a Nuclear Engineer with skills in mathematics and science; who thrives on working in busy and deadline-driven settings, and is looking to obtain a stimulating full time job or Internship. Equipped with exceptional active listening talents with the ability to take orders. Logical and systematic with a great eye for detail and a team-player who strongly believes that individual differences and uniqueness is the way to make this world a better place. Thelmar hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Nuclear Engineering and Radiolgical Science from University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Spelman College, in Atlanta, Georgia.
