I’m a self proclaimed hat junkie and Mumford & Sons fan with a master’s degree in Educational Technology and 14 years of teaching experience, classroom management, social media, and e-learning. Choosing to leave the elementary teaching position I loved to be a part of a developing team in 2013 offered me an opportunity to join a shared vision to advocate for kids on a much larger scale.What I love most is spending time directly with children, teachers, librarians, and parents, being their voice at the development table. Through Lean UX principles and processes, I have managed projects to shed light on stakeholders\' unique perspectives, aiding in the development of software solutions for libraries and schools. I continue to explore current trends in education and take a hands-on approach with our stakeholders’ direct needs.
