On-site at TUI InfoTec GmbH on the TUI Flight Marketplace (TFM) — flight sourcing, NDC airline connectors and AWS-based services- Hawkeye (AI agent): Built an internal monitoring agent in Python on AWS Lambda + Bedrock/Claude that summarises signals from Datadog, GitLab and an internal tracking API into prioritised MS Teams alerts, cutting manual triage effort for on-call engineers- Redis → DynamoDB migration: Led migration of a core caching/state layer from Redis to AWS DynamoDB, lowering operational overhead and infrastructure cost while improving availability- Cloud migration analysis: Scoped and documented migration of Distribution and Support services from AWS Lambda to ECS, covering cost, cold-start and operability trade-offs- CI/CD & infra hygiene: Stabilised GitLab pipelines across multiple services, drove ECR migrations, cleaned up unused NAT gateways and Lambda layers- Reliability: Resolved DocumentDB connectivity issues for cache accounts, optimised export log batching, integrated Datadog monitoring across services- Airline connectors (Go): Contributed to the Flaight.Connect framework and Emirates (EK) NDC integration — configuration, rules, observability and production validation; supported Ryanair (FR) rules in the search/export flow.Stack: Python, Go, AWS (Lambda, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, API Gateway, Bedrock), GitLab CI/CD, Datadog, MCP (Atlassian, Tavily), MS Teams webhooks.
