ABOUT JOHN THAI
John is a seasoned UX designer, leader and creative mind with over 20 years of experience building both physical and digital products. With 10 years of cross functional experience at Google, John has deeply collaborated to conceptualize and launch several flagship products and apps including Pixel Tablet, Nest Audio, Nest Hub, Google Home Hub and the Google Home App. In his ongoing tenure at Google, he has collaborated with several teams at Google including Android, YouTube, Pixel teams and countless others. With a background in creative direction, art direction, design direction and marketing, John has become a powerful, thoughtful and enthusiastic storyteller who can help people and brands imagine, visualize and realize futures; And possibilities. As an LGBTQ community leader, John has invested his spare time uplifting the queer Asian community by building a network of creatives and launching experiential nightlife spaces to a great degree of success. According to John, the enduring relationships built through his queer advocacy work are some of his greatest achievements. John is a firm believer in creating a joyous, collaborative and inclusive work culture to get the best results, never shying away from being a great example of these attributes himself.
