About Johnnie I.
Johnnie Ingram is a Peabody Award, Television Academy Honors, three-time GLAAD Award-winning, and Emmy®-nominated co-creator and executive producer of the two-time Emmy®-winning HBO docu-series \"We\'re Here.” In addition, he is the co-creator and executive producer of the 2023 queer inclusive romantic docu-series \"SWIPING AMERICA\" on MAX. Johnnie, an artist, advocate and creative director led many award winning advertising campaigns and is most known for the New York Times, TIME, USA TODAY acclaimed Cheerios Superbowl commercial featuring an interracial family in 2023. His award-winning gay blood donation campaign for GLAAD that was commissioned by Saatchi and Saatchi is part of the permanent collection at MOMA in New York City. Johnnie resides between Los Angeles and Palm Springs and is currently in production of We’re Here season 4.

In each episode, former RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka and Shangela travel to small conservative towns to put on a one night only drag performance. They recruit locals to share their story and struggles of queer life in these towns while teaching them how to step outside of their comfort zones.
