Jessica Wei art directs and designs books, journals, agenda planners, coloring books, and other stationery products that connect people with each other and themselves. She leads a range of small and large teams, driving excellence in elevated, trend-forward products, inspiring designers, and finding efficiencies in process improvements, while balancing a dozen overlapping programs. Her book cover design for Unwind by Aarti Sequeria was featured on Good Morning America and won an ECPA Top Shelf Award in 2024. She was named Stationery Trends Magazine 40 under 40 Class of 2022 and won a LOUIE Award for General Birthday for her handlettered \"Homegrown\" flocked card, and her book covers are in stores nationwide.Through working at Hallmark, she gained expertise in modern handlettering and calligraphy, secondary printing processes (foil, flocking, glitter, thermography, spot gloss, engraving, etc.), and emotive storytelling through design.She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and has over a two decades of experience designing with Adobe Creative Suite, with InDesign being her design program of choice. She builds websites and working with templates, such as Wordpress and Squarespace, with an understanding of coding.Outside of work, Jessica invests in her local community, through designing branding identity, shirt graphics, and organizing community gatherings through board games.
