About Thejasvi Venkatachalam
As a dedicated policy professional with a background in research, consulting, and stakeholder engagement, I am committed to tackling complex challenges in health policy and public sector strategy. Currently pursuing my Master of Public Policy at the University of Chicago’s Harris School, I bring a unique blend of analytical rigor, project management, and hands-on experience in policy development. My experience spans public sector consulting, health policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement. As a Partnerships Manager with the Harris Community Action Fellowship, I have worked closely with nonprofits to ensure clarity in project scope, deliverables, and impact. During my time as a policy consultant, I provided strategic recommendations to the Chicago Department of Public Health on addressing the methamphetamine crisis by integrating fragmented data collection efforts across the city. My policy research experience also includes working with the Administration for Children and Families, where I developed health policy briefings, coordinated cross-sector collaborations, and organized initiatives focused on maternal and infant health disparities. Additionally, through the Health Policy Lab at the University of Chicago, I have conducted cost-benefit analyses and operational planning for clients to help shape effective policy solutions. With expertise in data-driven decision-making, program evaluation, and strategic planning, I am eager to apply my skills to roles where I can contribute to meaningful policy change and systemic improvements. I am always open to discussing opportunities, collaborations, or shared interests in public policy—let’s connect!
