My passion is culture! In the world of work, keeping employees engaged and emotionally connected to the brand happens through proactive management of the organization’s culture. I bring innovative ideas to the table that support culture progression (not culture fit!) to address the cultural context, the tools and resources used, the value provided, and the scope of each role so that together they move the company’s culture forward as the organization scales. Many companies believe that culture is simply a product of their mission and values. Culture is driven by people and, because the people in a company may change, grow, and progress, so too must the culture. It is the role of the People function to be caretakers of the culture and aid the organization in its mission through actions and behaviors that promote values and instill engagement. My core belief is that no organization can truly be successful without leveraging diversity and inclusion and fostering a dynamically diverse and inclusive workplace where women, people of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community are treated fairly and equally and are valued for their contributions to company success. People must ALWAYS feel that they can be their true, authentic selves, and TM practices that leverage this principle are awesome places to work!
