About James Jackson
I am an energetic, self-starting professional with strong background in telecommunications, maintenance, facilities start up, construction and project management. Conduct job site meetings to ensure project standards, safety, and quality are maintained and devise plans accordingly. Strong ability to read, interpret, and update construction drawings and verify as-builts. Meet challenges head on with integrity. Dependable and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. In support of my son, James Jackson, founder of the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce, I became and still serve as treasurer. The chamber is dedicated to bringing visibility and resources to minority businesses. Created in 2009, the organization has grown to be a premier Black organization and one of the top Chambers in the country. The UBCC Charitable Foundation is creating an incubator for startup businesses, affordable housing, and education. I continue to grow my entrepreneurial spirit and working on two start ups. In September 2023, I took a hobby to a business. I passed my Part 107 Certification to become a commercial drone pilot. I started my company AerialNautics currently focusing on aerial and ground photos and videos for real estate, small businesses, inspections, and events. The other is still in the works.In February of 2021, inspired by helping families over the holiday season for many years anonymously along with my wife Naomi, we created a non profit, Wishes and Dreams. Through this non-profit we will assist 5 - 10 struggling families during the holiday season. I am a musician (Bass). My other hobbies include golf, slot car racing, and of course, flying drones. My wife and I have two children, James and Dinitri. We have five grandchildren. Audrie. Memphis. Aaliyah. Isaiah. Zoe. My grandchildren along with my wife are the inspiration for the name of my company, AmaizN.
