ABOUT ERIC LAU

I am a full-stack developer with a strong desire to build and be a part of something so incredibly rewarding. Compared to research, I became encaptivated by software engineering’s fast-paced environment and tight community. It became another outlook for me to express myself creatively.I’m inspired to learn new technologies and develop efficient, robust software. Constant challenges allow me to improve my skills and successfully solve complex problems, ultimately understanding the course to adapting to an ever-evolving landscape of change. I believe that software engineering is empowering, and can instantaneously impact the world in a positive way.Outside of work, I’m an avid photographer and sweet baker. I enjoy going on hikes, exploring nature, hitting the gym, travelling, or any other activity to get my blood flowing. I’m a big people person, so I like to get involved and meet new people through community service and Yelp elite events.
