After four years at Oswego State in upstate New York (where for the first three years my dorm was 100\' from the shore of Lake Ontario) and specifically my junior year (when we endured 76\" of snow in one day) I knew that I was destined to head south. So, with my teaching degree in hand I headed to Anne Arundel County and my Glen Burnie apt. to start my career teaching industrial arts. After a brief ten year teaching career followed by over 25 years in the construction industry (self-employed for over 20 years as a general contractor) the transition to the real estate business was a natural move. Not only do I know and understand the County (neighborhoods, schools, amenities, etc.) but also how homes are constructed, the value and cost of construction and home improvements and how to acquire permits. I also possess the teaching instinct and desire to share that knowledge with others. That\'s what real estate is about. If you\'re selling: it\'s determining the value of the home based upon current market conditions; preparing the home for sale; finding the quickest and most effective way to market the property and educating the client to become my partner in the transaction. If you\'re buying it\'s about pre-qualifying the client; identifying their needs, wants and desires; locating the best property that meets that criteria and educating the client about their best options. I now belong to the number #1 real estate company in AA County with over 100 professionals who take pride in what they do and specialize in providing a variety of superior real estate services to local communities.
