Proud Project Manager for Empowered Conversations with Age UK Salford. Empowered Conversations enhance the support available to family caregivers of people living with dementia. Offering Greater Manchester residents communication Courses (Empowered Conversations and Moving Beyond Words), one to one dementia therapeutic support (Empowered Carers), regular webinars (In Conversation with.), a monthly bereavement group and a Carers Voice group (Empowered Connectors). Communication courses are available for family and professional Carers - providing a space to pause, reflect and re-connect with people living with dementia. Currently any family Carers in Greater Manchester can access these courses for free thanks to the National Lottery. See -

I\'ve been working as a Project Manager since 2002! First in the environmental sector and now in health and social care. I\'m passionate about working in the third sector and nudging forward change. For the last 11 years I\'ve focused my work around dementia. I\'ve been working on Empowered Conversations for the last 10 years - and loving every minute of it. The Empowered team (and it is growing) top up my work battery daily with their enthusiasm, motivation and creativity!
