The Men Who Dare, Inc. is a non-profit scholarship organization whose purpose is to help young men and women in the Detroit metropolitan community who aspire to attend college or trade school but have limited financial resources. These youth (male or female) must be enrolled or seeking full time enrollment in an accredited institution of higher learning. They must demonstrate a strong will to succeed. They must be able to document financial need in excess of their available resources. As an integral part of the Detroit area community, the Men Who Dare will establish alliances with institutions of higher learning, local government and other like-minded organizations that will improve its ability to support the organization\'s mission.
