Hi, I’m Debjiit Dey a curious learner and storyteller at heart, currently pursuing my Master’s in International Relations at Amity University, Noida. My journey has been anything but linear, ranging from studying Humanities and Political Science, to diving deep into Vedic Astrology, and now exploring the complexities of global risk, conflict, and defense & nuclear studies.I’ve always believed that leadership is about service. During school, I had the privilege of being nominated Prefect, House Captain, and later School Captain, where I learnt the value of responsibility, discipline, and inspiring others. Today, I carry those lessons forward as the Founding President of my school’s Alumni Association, building bridges that connect past, present, and future learners.Work has also been a big teacher. I started as an Assistant Tutor, helping students simplify tough subjects like English and Social Sciences, which taught me how to communicate ideas with clarity and empathy. Later, as part of Amazon’s Consumer Abuse Prevention (CAP) Team, I navigated both Indian and North American marketplaces, gaining hands-on experience in risk analysis, customer trust, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.Beyond academics and work, I thrive on self-expression and performance. As an elocutionist and orator, I honed my voice to tell stories that inspire and persuade, shaping my confidence in public platforms. On the field, I was a front-runner in relay races and a goalkeeper in football, occasionally present in badminton turfs, where I learnt the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and trust. I’m also a trained pop and b-style dancer, an avid reader and writer who dreams of creating a universe of superheroes for Indians, blending creativity with discipline has always been my way of life.My ultimate goal is to contribute meaningfully in the space of international security, diplomacy, and risk analysis, using my unique mix of leadership, communication, and creative problem-solving to tackle challenges that matter.If you’re passionate about global affairs, storytelling, or innovative problem-solving, as well as similar literature I’d love to connect and exchange ideas.
