About Kimberly Ring
Kim is a 9-year public relations professional with experience representing large corporations such as Farmers Insurance and Fisher-Price, as well as small local breweries, healthcare facilities and start-up blockchain companies before diving into the cannabis industry. After graduating from the University of Missouri with a B.A. in Communication and English, Kim made her first strides as a Public Relations aficionado at FleishmanHillard’s St. Louis headquarters, then relocated to Denver to work with Communications Strategy Group as a Media Relations Specialist. She later shifted focus to cannabis as a Senior Publicist at Grasslands, serving as the account lead for BioTrackTHC, Gofire, Coda Signature, CannAmerica Brands and Cliintel Capital Management Group. Kim made her foray into freelance PR in March of 2019, launching Ring Relations LLC. Through Ring Relations, Kim gives a voice to cannabis, hemp and wellness start-ups. Kim’s strategic and empathetic approach to media outreach has led her to secure hits for clients in a variety of publications, such as Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Newsweek, USA Today, Huffington Post, Business Insider, and more. Kim enjoys using her \'PR superpowers\' for good, to raise awareness of commonly overlooked issues, such as the rising number of domestic violence cases.
