ABOUT THEBEAU PAUL
Projects-Designing a 3D Model of a dresser- Utilized solid works to create an accurate three-dimensional model of a dresser with an open drawer - Analysis was conducted to derive the moment of the dresser with an open drawer to conclude if the dresser would tip over or not-Designing 3D Model of Norwottuck Branch Rail Trail- Utilized solid works to create a 3D replica of the Norwottuck Branch Rail Trail- Analysis was performed to derive the dimensions of certain truss pieces. Rockwell Hardness Tester Lab- Operated the Rockwell Hardness Tester Scale B to perform indentations on two steel sheets that underwent different heating treatments- Analysis was completed to conclude that the differences in the heating treatment processes caused substantial differences in the hardness of each steel-Tensile Testing Lab- Executed a lab that derived comprehensive mechanical properties and features of a specimen, analogous traits amongst three different metals, and sustainable attributes to aid in depicting usability in different circumstances - Tested the hardness of an Alloy 260( cartridge brass) specimen using the Rockwell Hardness Tester Scale C Mitutoyo HR-300 - Used an Instron 34SC-5 to bring the cartridge brass to failure, ultimately testing its tensile strength - Created a stress vs. strain graph from the results received from the two tests - Calculated many mechanical properties through graph analysis, statics, and basic math -Car Demo - Worked in a group of two to build an RC Car that makes an audible tone, flashes light, and displays movement when exposed to a high-intensity light source- Built the exterior frame of the RC Car - Aided in the building of the circuit and development of the Arduino to implement sound, color, and movement - Managed the design and placement of the circuits, breadboards, and wires to provide organization and smooth operation
