ABOUT ANAND BANSODE

My life journey—from growing up with a speech disorder to standing on top of Mount Everest—reflects this belief. Early on, I struggled with both academics and health, failing the 9th grade and being physically weak. However, those challenges became my greatest motivators. In a full-circle moment, the same 9th-grade curriculum I once struggled with now includes a lesson on my life in the Maharashtra (India) textbook. In 2012, I summited Mount Everest, the ultimate test of physical and mental endurance. This achievement was not just for me but in honor of my father, who worked tirelessly as a two-wheeler puncture mechanic. His sacrifices and work ethic inspired me to keep pushing, even when life got tough. I’ve dedicated many of my climbs, including my Mount Kilimanjaro, Koscisuzko and Elbrus ascents, to him. Even though I’ve reached incredible heights, I will never forget where I come from. 360 Explorer Inc, the global adventure tech company I founded with just ₹500, is now a leader in organizing trekking expeditions across the world, from Kilimanjaro to Everest Base Camp. My mission isn’t just about helping people climb physical mountains; it’s about helping them conquer the internal mountains that hold them back in life. Today, 360 Explorer operates across the USA, Canada, and India, with thousands of adventurers realizing their potential through our expeditions. Becoming a published author was another turning point. I’ve written five bestselling books, sharing my experiences in mountaineering, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. My books have reached readers worldwide, and I’m proud to know that they’ve inspired others to chase their own dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. I’ve also had the privilege of sharing my journey on global platforms. As a TEDx speaker and a featured speaker at events like JOSH Talks, the Inventures Conference in Calgary, I’ve shared my story with thousands. One of my proudest moments was being recognized in Fox Story\'s 100 Under 40, an honor that reflects not just my achievements but also the hard work it took to get here. In addition to adventure and writing, entrepreneurship has become a huge part of my life. As a first-generation entrepreneur, I’ve faced challenges that many startup founders know all too well. I’ve gone from starting a business with no experience to helping international founders expand into North America.
