About Thea Johnson Williams
With over 20 years of experience in environmental science and policy, I am passionate about advancing evidence-based solutions to the most pressing challenges facing our planet and society. As the Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), I leverage my expertise in environmental science and federal government relations to foster collaboration and communication between OSTP and Congress on a wide range of scientific and technological issues.In my current role, I advise principal leadership on legislative strategy, priorities, and initiatives related to science and technology policy. I also coordinate with other executive branch agencies, stakeholders, and experts to ensure consistent and effective engagement with Congress.
