   Part of the AWS QuickSight team, building and owning distributed backend and full-stack systems that power QuickSight\'s authorization, search, billing, and namespace provisioning infrastructure.Key contributions:• Designed a Serverless Multi-Leader Replication System — replaced an EC2-hosted DynamoDB replication system with a serverless SQS fanout + Lambda architecture, reducing monthly data delivery costs by ~5x ($7,758 → $1,592/month for the highest-traffic table across 13 regions) while achieving 99.9% availability and <2s global replication latency.• Owned end-to-end design of the Subscription API (v0) — QuickSight\'s first programmatic namespace provisioning system for ISVs — defining the full RESTful API surface, async provisioning status model, IAM security model, and AMS-to-AppService delegation architecture; secured Galaxy service capacity new directories) enabling ISV onboarding at scale.• Designed the QuickSight Restricted Folder — a novel IAM condition-based authorization model using quicksight:RestrictedFolders context keys and a runtime Null condition injection strategy to enforce bidirectional data boundary constraints — directly unblocking the QS-DataZone integration P0 milestone across 5 asset APIs.• Architected the Folders & Indexing system — a 4-type folder model (Shared, Namespace, Restricted, Personal) with hierarchical permission inheritance, resource-based ACLs, and a distributed OpenSearch indexing pipeline — introducing deny semantics to QuickSight\'s authorization model for the first time.• Implemented the Search Improvement feature end-to-end — a new SearchSuggestions API, asset-type tab grouping, and secondary search — reducing perceived tab-switch latency to ~0ms via pre-fetched top-100 results per asset type at submission time.
